Alexisonfire released their new single “Familiar Drugs”. This is the first music the band has released in almost ten years. The song was produced by Karl Bareham (City and Colour) and mixed by Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse).

A special single-sided 7” vinyl pressing for “Familiar Drugs” is available for pre-order now. There will be a few limited edition glow-in-the-dark variant vinyls randomly interspersed throughout the entire standard black variant stock so a few lucky recipients will get the glow-in-the-dark variant. You can pre-order the “Familiar Drugs” vinyl here: https://alexisonfire.store-08.com/featured/.

Alexisonfire also announced a few headlining concert dates for this summer. Tickets for these shows go on sale Friday, February 22nd. Thanks to a partnership with PLUS1, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Indspire to build a brighter future for Indigenous students. You can buy tickets here: https://theonlybandever.com/.

6/01 – London, UK @ Alexandra Palace

6/08 – New York, NY @ Terminal 5

What will come next for Alexisonfire? We will just have to wait and see. What we do know is the new single “Familiar Drugs” can hold us over for now, and you do not want to miss one of the four concerts this summer if you are in the areas of London, New York, Los Angeles, or Toronto.
