From the indie folk rock project, Owen-Glass comes their new single “Saint”. The single will be on their upcoming debut album ‘The Rope & The Rabbit’ which is scheduled to be released on May 10th.

About “Saint”, Kelly Wayne Conley stated:
“It’s about the feeling of isolation or ostracization that comes when you embrace the sort of rugged individualism it takes to really think freely and critically. When you’re pushing hard, trying to find truth, something to hold onto that is uniquely yours—something that gives your life unique meaning and purpose—you’re going to alienate and offend people along the way. When you involve yourself in the world of ideas, there will be people, sometimes people you truly love and respect, even, who will reject you. They may think you’re evil, they may think you’re crazy. And that’s a really emotional experience.”

Owen-Glass is the project of singer-songwriter Kelly Wayne Conley and his “trusty sidekick” guitarist Cole Humphrey. Based in Texas, they are having fun creating music that features smart lyrics, tight harmonies, textured soundscapes, and multi-instrumental solos. Including a rock violin, an alto saxophone, 1970s-style keys, and an electric mandolin, the project certainly produces a mysterious and intriguing sound. Their debut album ‘The Rope & The Rabbit’ defies the conventions of genre and maintains an alarming degree of stylistic cohesiveness and high levels of broad-audience listenability.
