The post-grunge band Hold Fast Hope released a music video for their new single “Messengers”. Combining grunge and emo with a touch of post-hardcore, the track was produced, engineered, and mixed by Nicholas Starrantino at In-House Recordings and mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering.

About “Messengers”, vocalist/guitarist DJ Deane stated:
“It’s about fighting through life. The struggles and shadows that follow us through every step of growth or for some in this case, lack of growth. It’s a story about being haunted by our dark urges, addictions, fear, anxiety and having someone in our corner whom we never listen to. A person who truly believes in us and tries to send us the message that could save us, whether or not we listen. In the end the messenger watches us fail; over and over, repeating remedies that haven’t worked whilst we point a finger at them avoiding our truth.”

Hold Fast Hope is based in Long Island, New York. They marked their formation in early 2016 with the release of their debut single “Fortune Favors”. With influences that range from Thrice and Glassjaw to Foxing and Citizen, the band combines aspects of various genres to create a sound that is unique to them. In 2018, they released their debut EP ‘Traitors’, which was produced by Dom Nastasi and Mike Watts at VuDu Studios (Glassjaw, Gates, Hail The Sun).

As expressed in the essence of their new single, Hold Fast Hope wants everyone to know one thing and that is to never give up on your dreams and goals.
