Indie artist Zach Frost will be releasing his new single “Rock Bottom” and its accompanying music video on April 26th. The song blends elements of indie rock, dance punk, and emo. It is the first single from his upcoming EP ‘Bucket List’, which is slated for an autumn 2019 release. “Rock Bottom” was written after he went through a particularly difficult time involving the breakup of a years-long romantic relationship and undiagnosed medical issues. The music video was produced by Jakob Mooney, who is the current touring drummer of Like Moths to Flames (Rise Records), and features cameos by members of the popular Columbus, Ohio rock bands Something Else and We Are The Movies.

Zach Frost is a musician from Columbus, Ohio. He performed in many bands throughout high school including hardcore-punk band All My Strength, members of which went on to play in bands such as Legion (Good Fight Entertainment) and Minority Threat. All My Strength performed throughout the Midwest and Canada while the youngest member of the band was only 14 years old. After the dissolution of All My Strength, he went on to join pop-punk band Someone Like You who cut their teeth by working on the administrative side of Vans Warped Tour 2010 while promoting their debut EP and selling over 4,000 copies in just a few short months. Someone Like You was exposed to a wider audience in 2011 by having their music included on the soundtrack of an award-winning documentary.

He spent the next several years managing bands such as We Are The Movies while they performed on part of Vans Warped Tour 2016 and Absolute Hero while they performed at Inkcarceration Festival. He even worked as a roadie for indie-pop group Young Rising Sons (Interscope Records). Feeling the itch to perform again, he took the opportunity to work as a touring drummer for Save The Lost Boys (Victory Records) while beginning to dedicate more time to his solo career.

In 2018, he continued to work for other bands and traveled Europe with Roadstring Army twice before finally releasing his debut solo EP ‘I Try Not To Think About The Past’. Recorded at Radio City Records with producer Tim Waters, the EP is a refreshing blend of pop-punk, indie rock, and folk music. He wrote it himself and also performed every instrument on it. Now performing live as a solo artist, he has earned acclaim for his energetic stage presence and by performing with only a tenor ukulele. He is currently in the studio recording his sophomore EP ‘Bucket List’.
