The Fueled By Ramen recording artist grandson has released a music video for his single “Stigmata”, which is featured on his latest EP ‘a modern tragedy vol. 2’. The video was directed by Roscoe Guerrero. His headlining The End Of The Beginning Tour kicks off September 10th with special guest nothing, nowhere. as support.

Following grandson’s Fueled By Ramen debut EP ‘a modern tragedy vol. 1’, the second installment of his modern tragedy series is an exploration into the heart, into addiction, into power, into disillusionment, and into accepting who you are and not compromising. Marking some of his most personal work to date, ‘a modern tragedy vol. 2’ touches on the environment around him and serves as a commentary on apathy and sensationalized media, on truth and martyrdom, and on gun violence.

Released last summer, ‘a modern tragedy vol. 1’ finds him confronting some of the most pressing political and social issues impacting his generation and provokes discourse through a powerful union of art and activism. The five-song EP has garnered over 75 million streams. Its lead single “Blood // Water” was remixed by Tom Morello, AWOLNATION, Krupa, King Kavalier, and 22 Bullets & Ghost on a remix EP called ‘BLOOD // EDITS’.

In June, grandson released his ‘no apologies live’ EP, which is a collection of six live tracks recorded in Los Angeles and Toronto on his sold-out No Apologies Tour. He also released a cover of Rage Against The Machine’s “Maria” for which he deconstructed the track.
