The hard rock band Along Came A Spider released their new single “Remedy” followed by its lyric video days later. The track, which was featured on Spotify’s New Blood playlist, is the second single off of the band’s upcoming third album.

About the single, vocalist Jamie Miller stated:
“Lyrically, it’s about feeling weighed down – even physically sickened – by the environment around you. But there’s that one person who motivates you to keep fighting.”

The track takes a more radio-friendly approach than the bands previous nu-metal tinged first single. That said, don’t let the airy guitar melodies fool you, “Remedy” is modern hard rock at its core. There are elements of heavy alternative and pop-punk throughout the track, which will ring a bell or fans of Rise Against, The Word Alive, Royal Tusk, and Badflower.

The band hails from Cleveland, Ohio and is known for their energetic live performance and extreme work ethic. They have toured heavily and have supported the likes of Sevendust, Asking Alexandria, Story Of The Year, Andrew W.K., and Beartooth. They have also made appearances at several festival including Monster Outbreak, Rockapalooza, and The All-Stars Tour. The band is managed by Nicholas Mishko of 10 & 8 Managment.

Following the success of their last single “Galaxy Eyes”, Along Came A Spider is emerging in a big way. They are poised to reach the modern rock charts with their forthcoming third LP, which was produced by Evan McKeever.
