New York hardcore band Hangman released their new album ‘One By One’ last month via Flatspot Records. The record is the band’s most punishing release to date. They will be hitting the road with Backtrack and Higher Power in November for some European tour dates.

Since their inception in 2014, the band has always been brimming with palpable energy, passion, and anger. Armed with razor-sharp riffs, they have propelled their way through vicious grooves and bruising breakdowns. Formed by guitarist Michael Smith and vocalist Dan Mulligan, the band has spent the past five years culling the fiercest elements from legendary bands like Madball, Neglect, and Vision of Disorder to create their own volatile batch of hardcore anthems. They have toured with the likes of No Warning, Backtrack, and Death Threat across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. The band has also played sets at festivals like United Blood, This Is Hardcore, and Belgium’s leperfest.

The new album ‘One By One’ was produced and mixed by Greg Thomas and Chris Teti at Silver Bullet Studios in Connecticut, mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering, and features guest vocals by Death Threat’s Aaron Butkus on the title track “One by One”.
