Atlanta-based punk band The Carolyn released their new single “Heartsunk” along with its music video. The track will be on their upcoming debut album ‘This Will Begin To Make Things Right’, which will be released on December 6th via 59 X Records.

About the song, vocalist Andrew Patrick stated:
“It was written about a transitional phase in my life in which I moved from the town I had been living in for 5 years. I had a close group of friends, but each of us slowly started to move on to bigger and better things, which entailed packing up and leaving. As much as change is necessary, this song is about trying to hold onto a time in your life that you’ll never get back.”

Clocking in at under two minutes, the scrappy new track reflects on bygone days and the desire to relive some of more raucous moments one more time. “Heartsunk” serves up a heaping dose of nostalgia with a driving melody and riotous hook. The Carolyn reminisce on good times by spinning small stories of all night partying and rough mornings into a relatable anthem.
