Katy Perry released her first holiday music video for her song “Cozy Little Christmas” via Capitol Records (Universal Music Group). On the track, she reflects on a holiday season spent with family in Denmark. The video was helmed by directing duo WATTS (Steve Aoki, Noah Cyrus).

She co-wrote and co-produced the track “Cozy Little Christmas” with Greg Wells, who produced “Waking Up In Vegas”, and Ferras Alqaisi, who co-wrote several songs on ‘WITNESS’. The track was released as an Amazon Original last year and claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart in December of 2018.

After signing to Capitol Records in 2007, Katy Perry made her debut on the label with ‘One of the Boys’ in 2008. She cemented her status as a global superstar with her follow-up album ‘Teenage Dream’, which made her the only female artist to have five No. 1 singles from one album on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her album ‘PRISM’, which was released in 2013, debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries and has sold more than 12.5 million adjusted albums worldwide. She became the first artist to earn three RIAA Digital Single Diamond Awards, is one of five artists in history to have topped 100 million certified units with their digital singles, and is the first Capitol Records recording artist to join the elite RIAA 100 Million Certified Songs club.

Her fourth studio album ‘WITNESS’ not only debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 1 on iTunes in 46 countries, it also set the record for the biggest week for an album by a female artist in 2017. Her summer 2019 single “Never Really Over” is certified gold and was the biggest streaming launch of her musical career.

In addition to being one of the best-selling musical artists of all time, she is an active advocate of many philanthropic causes. In 2013, she was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador as a result of her commitment to improving the lives of children worldwide. She has used her powerful voice to advocate for children and support UNICEF’s mission to ensure every child’s right to health, education, equality, and protection. In 2016, she was awarded with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award. She has also been a champion for LGBTQ+ equality. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Trevor Project’s Hero Award in 2012, the Human Rights Campaign’s National Equality Award in 2017, and amfAR’s Award of Courage in 2018.

Over the past six months, Katy Perry has released a trio of new songs including “Harleys in Hawaii”, “Small Talk”, and “Never Really Over”.
