About the EP, vocalist xCRITTERx stated:
“This EP came from the truth of life, and the fact that time itself is always taken for granted. Once it’s gone, it’s gone and we cannot forget that.  Making memories, doing the things we love, living life, can all be taken away without warning. In the end, time is and will always be my enemy.”

Ante Up is comprised of xCRITTERx (vocals), John (bass), Matt (guitar), xRICHx (guitar), and Justin (drums). The band paved their way through the rugged Detroit scene and elevated themselves to be recognized as an international force to be reckoned with. Their sound continues to evolve into a beefy metallic hardcore cross-over style that is fueled by their thrash metal and hardcore roots.

‘T.I.M.E.’, which is an acronym for Time Is My Enemy, was recorded by Ivan Fargo at Sound Shop Studios and mixed and mastered by Andy Nelson and Pete Grossman at the Bricktop Studios in Chicago, Illinois. The EP was released on December 13th via Upstate Records.
