Metalcore band Bleed The Sky released the music video for their single “Serpent”. The track is off of their new album ‘This Way Lies Madness’, which is out as of January 17th via Art Is War Records. They will be hitting the road with Skinlab on the Revival Tour beginning January 23rd.
Formed in 2003, the California-based band is back in full swing after a ten year absence from the music scene. Following two well-received albums released on Nuclear Blast Records (‘Paradigm in Entropy’ in 2005 and ‘Murder the Dance’ in 2008) they are once again redefining who they are with the Art Is War Records release ‘This Way Lies Madness’. The new lineup consists of Noah Robinson (vocals), Austin D’Amond (drums), Wayne Miller (guitars), Kevin Garcia (guitars), and David Culbert (bass). While both Noah Robinson and Austin D’Amond were active members on both previous albums, Wayne Miller was an active member during the ‘Paradigm in Entropy’ album cycle, and David Culbert was an active member during the pre-production of ‘Murder the Dance’. With this new lineup rounded out by Kevin Garcia, the band returns with an intensity that is familiar to fans of the previous sound while bringing a new brutality.
The new single “Serpent” is exactly what fans have been waiting for all these years. The video is a dark and gritty reflection of the band’s new sound. The song offers fans, both old and new, a refreshing new sound that is familiar to the band’s roots.
