Metalcore band Levels released their new single “Encapsulate” along with a music video for the technical track that features brutal breakdowns. They will be hitting the road soon for several dates in the US and Canada with Living Machines.

Since their formation nearly five years ago, the Arkansas-based band have endeavored to mix elements of technical metal and djent with metalcore and hardcore to create their own brand of heavy music. With “Encapsulate”, the band has found a new and more focused sound that sets them apart from others. Guest vocalist Josh Stewart channels anguish and anger with his clean vocals that complement the heavier elements of the track. Produce Jeff Dunne (Motionless In White, Emmure, Fit For A King) brings out the best from each member of the band with a highly refined and intimate production style that captures each individual performance beautifully while making the entire song sound cohesive. The video for the single was produced and edited by the band’s drummer Dalton Kennerly.

Levels will be releasing a new EP later this year.
