Italian alternative metal band Elyne released their new single “Light It Up” featuring Aaron Pauley (Of Mice & Men) and its music video. The track is on their new album ‘Art Of Being Human’, which released on March 6th.
About the single, vocalist Danny Metal stated:
“When we started writing this new album we didn’t have something like this in mind. I remember just being in my studio writing on a piano this song and immediately felt like [Aaron Pauley’s] voice would have been such a crazy thing. We met Aaron in Italy when we shared the stage together with Of Mice & Men so we had him listen to the song and asked if he’d be up to collaborate and he came up with these amazing vocal lines and lyrics that were 100% perfect for the song. It’s been an easy process and I am so proud to have him on such a special song.”
Continuing about the album, he stated:
“Being on this earth is not easy. Just as it is not easy to be human. We are mysterious creatures, capable of the most beautiful and most despicable things. Art, which belongs to us at a native level, gives us the chance to inspire and express the essence of all ranges of emotions, and we try to wake up the next day trying to be better than the previous one. This is the art of being human.”
Joining vocalist Danny Metal in the band is drummer Dario Capacci, guitarist Bruno Stella, and bassist Alessandro Farina. They have shaped their own mark in recent years, reaching the top 10 iTunes charts four separate times and gaining over a million streams on Spotify thanks to the singles “Stand Tall”, “Wake Up”, “Outbreak”, and “Throne Of Thorns”. After breaking records while touring mainland Europe, UK, and Russia with over 200 shows in 4 years, the band just released their long-awaited third studio album ‘Art Of Being Human’.
