New York-based metalcore band Until I Wake released their sophomore single “Self Medicated” and its music video. The track explores a more accessible rock side of the band while continuing the theme of addressing depression and addiction.

About the video, bassist Ryan Ridley stated:
“The video portrays our frontman Cody drinking alone in a hotel room, when he passes out, his band mates try to help him. He runs away from the situation, but upon reflecting in isolation he returns to the room and seeks out the friendship and comradery of his friends.”

They only formed months ago, but have already caught the attention of Kerrang!, Loudwire, and a handful of large playlists. Their debut single “Sinking Under” surpassed 80K streams on Spotify and 100K plays on YouTube in one month. They’ve grown a vast following with audiences comparing them to artists such as Underoath, Asking Alexandria, and We Came As Romans.

The third single from Until I Wake is expected to drop this spring.
