Texas-based alternative emo band Love Again released a music video for their single “86”. The song, which is about knowing your worth, will be available on streaming platforms on April 24th.
The track was produced, mixed, and mastered by Cory Brunnemann, and the video was shot and directed by Brandon Brumley (Time Keeper Media).
Located in San Antonio, Love Again consists of Joseph Rodriguez (vocals/guitar), Gilbert Vara (bass), and Alex Cortez (drums). For Joseph, this is some of the most personal music he has worked as the band’s songs are his reflections on past situations and relationships to which many people can relate.
The single “86” is a reflection on the vocalist’s prior place of employment and about knowing your worth and leaving toxic elements of your life behind. Joseph wrote the song right before graduating college, having been at that job for almost 10 years he was ready to leave because as he was over doing the same things day in and day out.
