Indiana metalcore band InGhosts released their first new single of 2020 entitled “Defeat” along with its music video. The track takes off right away in a swirling, purple-hued blend of djent riffs, climatic synths, and the occasional hint of EDM.

About the band and the track, vocalist Mike Kenway stated:
“It seems our entire career as a band has been nothing but turbulence and being held back, but time after time we’ve continued to press on. Even if it doesn’t get us where we want to go, music is what drives us and what makes us happy – and if we can keep going, then so can you.”
“We are stronger than defeat”, screams vocalist Mike Kenway on the explosive track that’s ultimately about perseverance. This marks the band’s first release with Kenway taking over lead vocal duties.
