St. Louis-based band Discrepancies released their new single “Control” and its music video via InVogue Records. The track, which combines elements of various genres, is the first to be released off of the band’s album that is due out this spring.

The band is comprised of Antonio Metcalf (vocals), Addison Bracher (guitar/vocals), Garrett Weakley (bass), and Zach Allard (drums). They have formed a powerful and innovative sound that incorporates heavy riffs, soaring choruses, and breakdowns with intense lyricism and hip-hop elements. After releasing their debut single “Get Hype” in 2014, the band found great success, and their debut EP was released shortly after.

In January of 2018, they signed to InVogue Records. A couple months later, they released their album ‘The Awakening’ and had over a million streams in the first week. Throughout the years they have played shows with the likes of Breaking Benjamin, P.O.D., Sick Puppies, Deadset Society, Kottonmouth Kings, Memphis May Fire, and Story Of The Year. They also played the Vans Warped Tour in 2018 and Rock USA in 2019.

Discrepancies want to connect with people on a deep level and allow for people to be inspired to form their own opinions free from judgement.
